Rosie speculates about what her life would be like if she ever met her half sister, Diana

"synopsis" may belong to another edition of this title.

From School Library Journal:
PreSchool-Grade 2 A little girl has never seen her half sister Diana, and she wishes that she could share her life with her. Rosie imagines the things they could do if they were together, like brushing each other's hair or blowing bubble gum bubbles or telling awful jokes. This wistful book, which sacrifices story for bibliotherapy, explores the girl's hopes that one day they will meet and that her half sister sometimes thinks about her too. The children and the homey scenes in the soft black-and-white pencil illustrations reflect the sensitive quality of the text. This book would be useful along with Simon's All Kinds of Families (Whitman, 1975) for explaining different kinds of family relationships. It is similar to Schuchman's Two Places to Sleep (Carolrhoda, 1979) and Stinson's Mom and Dad Don't Live Together Anymore (Annick, 1984; o.p.) in that the child's viewpoint is expressed in a natural way.
