Robert Burleigh has written several award-winning books and videos for children. His recent book subjects have ranged from sports Home Run: The Story of Babe Ruth to American history Who Said That? He has also written and produced many programs that teach reading, phonics, and creative writing to very young children. A longtime resident of Chicago, Mr. Burleigh still lives and works in the Windy City.
