SUSAN MIDDLETON ELYA is the author of more than a dozen books for children, including the Say Hola to Spanish series, illustrated by Loretta Lopez. She lives in northern California.

Illustrator/author Steven Salerno has written & illustrated 5 popular picture books for kids: Little Tumbo, Coco the Carrot,  Harry Hungry, Wild Child, and Tim's Goodbye. Steven has also illustrated 25 picture books written by other authors, including: Brothers at Bat and The Kid from Diamond Street both written by Audrey Vernick. Also, Goldenlocks and the Three Pirates written by April Jones Prince, Mrs. Wow Never Wanted a Cow written by Martha Freeman, and many more. Steven's picture books have received industry starred reviews from Publishers Weekly, Kirkus Reviews, School Library Journal, Children's Literature, The New York Times Review of Books, and have been displayed by The Society of Illustrators (NYC) in their annual children's picture book art exhibition. A graduate of Parsons School of Design in NYC (he studied under famed picture book author/artist Maurice Sendak) Steven Salerno also creates illustrations for advertising, magazines, product packaging, retail graphics, and publishing.
