In this getting-ready-for-winter board book, a bunny is thrilled^B by the sight of a snowflake and the prospect of winter and watches as other animals--a skunk, a squirrel, a chipmunk, a mouse, a bear, and a raccoon--prepare for the cold. The simple text, only about eight words per double-page spread, conveys the excitement and urgency of winter's approach, and bright, boldly colored cutoutlike illustrations collect more and more snowflakes as the story progresses.
