Leonard S. Marcus is a noted historian, author, critic, and lecturer in the field of children's literature. He has been Parenting magazine's children's book editor since the magazine's founding in 1987. His books, including Dear Genius: The Letters of Ursula Nordstrom and Margaret Wise Brown: Awakened by the Moon, have won numerous awards.
