Fortunately, there's also Jenny Cain, foundation director and amateur sleuth, to solve them. The latest in this series concerns a commercial waterfront development and those whose lives are affected by it. Dialect is much easier to listen to than read, and Shea provides a range--Yankee, Southern and European--which runs counterpoint to her own first-person inflectionless narrative.
