BARRY WINDSOR-SMITH is one of the pioneering artists of the medium. In 1968, he began his career at Marvel Comics and famously illustrated the highly acclaimed Conan the Barbarian. He subsequently illustrated some of Marvels most popular titles, including The Avengers, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Iron Man, and The X-Men, and illustrated and wrote Weapon X, the groundbreaking origin story of Wolverine. He left Marvel to become Creative Director of Valiant Comics producing what many consider his finest work. At Valiant, he designed, illustrated, and wrote Archer and Armstrong, Eternal Warrior, and X-O Manowar. He is also a noted painter, designer, illustrator, and art director for films, including Oliver Stone s The Hand. He is the founder of The Gorblimey Press and the Windsor-Smith Studio.
JOE QUESADA is one of the most famous figures in comics. Currently, he is the Editor-In-Chief of Marvel Comics and oversees the creative direction of the Marvel Universe. He began his career as a colorist for Valiant Comics before moving to DC Comics where he shot to fame co-creating Azrael, a character which famously took over the Batman mantle. In 1994, he co-founded Event Comics, which was hired by Marvel to revitalize a number of their key characters - such as Daredevil and The Punisher - under the Marvel Knights imprint, the success of which led to his promotion to Marvel s Editor-In-Chief position in 2000.
BOB LAYTON is one of comics most accomplished creators. In the late 1970s, he re-imagined Marvel s Iron Man, creating some its most seminal stories and transforming the character into one of Marvel s all-time best sellers. He created the first mini-series in comics history with Marvel s Hercules: Prince of Power and co-created DC Comics The Huntress, a character which regularly appears in the live-action Warner Bros. television series Birds of Prey. He was a co-creator of the Valiant Universe and served as its Senior Vice President and Editor-In-Chief, during which he was named Editor of the Year by Wizard Magazine. He also founded Future Comics.
