Information about health and wellness on and off the road abounds. The $40 billion diet industry delivers us advice daily via Twitter, Facebook, TV, magazines, websites and other media. We are almost drowning in health advice. But advice is useless if you don t know how to apply it. Mile High and Healthy is for the busy traveler who finds him- or herself constantly on the run, with very little time to sort through information or to get started on their path to health. Inspired by Jayne McAllister's own journey from globe-trotting, caffeine and sugar fueled executive to healthy, energetic entrepreneur and wellness practitioner, Mile High and Healthy is an invaluable tool for anyone who finds themselves in airports and hotels on a regular basis. All aspects of travel wellness are covered, including eating right in impossible situations, exercising when you don t have time, increasing energy levels, jet lag recovery, sleep quality, avoiding sickness on the road, handling stress and increasing resilience. The very serious subject of health and wellness is delivered with humor and practicality. In these pages you ll find a combination of down-to-earth advice and tips for immediate. Mile High and Healthy is written by an expert in the field of travel wellness. Jayne McAllister is a former travel magazine publisher turned integrative nutrition practitioner, Pilates teacher and teacher trainer, and transformational coach.

Review:
Jayne McAllister delivers much needed advice for today's business and leisure traveler with humour and insight in equal measure. --Christopher Babayode, Author, Farewell Jet Lag: Cures From A Flight Attendant.

Travel equals stress at any class of service. Dehydration, cramps, swelling, and time-zone fatigue are the reality regardless if you are seated in the premium or coach cabin. Inside these pages are some real gems about our body's true reaction to room service, leg room and jet lag. The author teaches us to abandon the travel industry's commercial guarantees of worry-free comfort offering, instead, a choice-driven lifestyle where being proactive about sleep, exercise and dining allows me to be the road warrior my family needs me to be. If you don't read this book now, your next destination most likely will be to learn these lessons the hard way! --Bill Ianni, Delta Diamond Million Miler & Marriott Lifetime Platinum Elite

Mile High and Healthy is the next best thing to having your own personal travel wellness guru on tap wherever in the world you are heading. From now on, it's going to be my travel companion of choice. --Carolyn Pearson, Founder, maiden-voyage.com.
