Hedy Weinberg is an award-winning writer and essayist. Diagnosed with hepatitis C in 1993, she brings personal understanding of how patients feel and what they want and need to know. Shira Shump, a specialist in early childhood education, works in the psychiatric day treatment program at the Square One Preschool. Gregory T. Everson, MD, a nationally recognized expert on the treatment of hepatitis C, is Professor of Medicine and Director of Hepatology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Joy Chen was born in Taiwan. She is now a freelance artist in New York City.
