Janet Pilcher earned a PhD in measurement and evaluation from Florida State University. She also earned a master s degree in educational leadership and a bachelor s degree in business. She has published a number of research articles and several books, and has trademarked online tools that help leaders and teachers improve their performance. She has led research and development projects that have resulted in more than $17 million in grants and contracts, and has created Web and mobile learning systems. Dr. Pilcher has published a book for teachers, Who s Engaged? Climb the Learning Ladder to See, and coauthored a book for school leaders, How to Lead Teachers to Become Great.
