TheBOOK OF REVELATION demonstrates God's desire and design to bring all ofcreation into an environment of worship, with Jesus the Lamb upon the throne.
 
Themusical begins in heaven, as we join with the ANGEL VOICES 'ever singing, roundthy throne of light.'  Here there is nosin, no pain, no darkness; a deep contrast to the world in which John findshimself, exiled on the isle of Patmos!
 
Suddenly,John is confronted with a heavenly vision, with Jesus himself at the centre - IAM THE ONE, and is drawn into the angelic worship - HOLY, HOLY, HOLY.
 
Weare reminded of the fall of Satan, who, when he sinned, was evicted from heavenWITH A CRASH OF THUNDER!  He roams theearth as 'a roaring lion' and 'an angel of light', his solicitous WILL YOU BUY?enticing even the church.
 
Thereis only one remedy: BEHOLD THE LAMB of God, 'who takes away the sin of theworld.'  John's vision is of the throneof heaven, and the One who sits upon it:WORTHY IS THE LAMB 'who was slain.'
 
Awareof his own need, as a sinner in need of forgiveness and as an isolate onPatmos. John turns to the cross and to the One who will always be with him - OLOVE THAT WILL NOT LET ME GO!
 
LISTENTO ME! Is the message of Jesus through the angel to the churches, and hisappeal is to far more than just the Laodiceans, but to all who in any wayexclude him - HERE I STAND, 'at the door and knock!'
 
Thefinal judgement of Satan is described - RULE OF NIGHT IS OVER, and he isfinally cast from the earth.  Thebelievers join with the host of heaven and triumphantly declare: WORTHY IS THELAMB!
 
Thereis a further challenge.  There's stilltime for others to respond to the Gospel - 'Its not too late to change yourfate' - for all must answer to the question ARE YOU IN THE BOOK?
 
Thefinal chapters of the book of Revelation look forward to the time when therewill be NOR MORE DYING, but instead a rapturous experience of EVERLASTING JOY.
 
Oneday all of the Universe will be brought to a final consummation on the returnof him who is COMING WITH THE CLOUDS.But yet there is still time to let him come to us - HERE I STAND, sothat all who have received him may forever, with all the ANGEL VOICES, praisehim around the throne of light!
 
'Amen.  Come, Lord Jesus!'

Having trained at the Birmingham School of Music, Roger Jones was appointed as a music teacher at Aston Manor School, Birmingham, in 1969, and eventually became Head of the Lower School. In 1984 he gave up teaching to become involved in full-time Christian music. When he is not writing, Roger is involved in running music workshops, speaking at conferences and taking choirs around the world to perform to ever-increasing audiences.

His recent works include PRECIOUS & HONOURED, JAIRUS' DAUGHTER, MARY MAGDALENE, PHARISEE, SIMEON and SNAKES & LADDERS.
