About the Author:
Pete and Pam Wright, best-selling authors of Wrightslaw: Special Education Law, provide informative and inspirational advice about special education advocacy through the Wrightslaw site.

Pete is an attorney who represents children with disabilities. He represented Shannon Carter before the U. S. Supreme Court in Florence County School District IV v. Carter (510 U.S. 7). Pam is a psychotherapist who writes about advocacy for children with disabilities. She is the editor of The Special Ed Advocate newsletter.
