About the Author:
Author: Binky von Barksdale, PhD, is a self-proclaimed aficionado of the English lexicon. Her works include recurring feature articles in Dogue, Cosmopawlitan, Good House-Training, and Bone Appetite magazines. She has stretched her writing talents by creating seven renowned off-off Broadway theatrical plays including the Boney nominated Shakespearean parody Taming of the Shitzu. Her most recent oeuvres include a Kafkaesque novella Petamorphosis and several cameo appearances in only the most independent of films (very hush, hush). She lives reclusively in Cornish, New Hampshire because as she says, "that’s where all of the good one’s live."
Illustrator: Robin Zingone attended Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris. She has done product illustrations for Barbie Mattel Style Guides, shampoo bottle for Conair, beer glasses for Anheuser-Busch, point of purchase materials for Sara Lee, a mural for QVC, and scarf designs for Visa. Her illustrations have appeared in numerous magazines and newspapers including Better Homes and Gardens, Seventeen, Shape, and the Washington Post. She lives in Connecticut with her husband, three dogs, and two cats.
