About the Author:
Lee Canter, the developer of Assertive Discipline and Classroom Management for Academic Success, has enjoyed a lengthy career as a creator of cutting-edge training programs for educators. Lee attended California State University, and then completed a master's degree in social work at the University of Southern California. In 1970 he began serving as a psychiatric social worker for children in southern California.
