Book First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Stated first edition, subsequent impression with number line '10 9 8 7 6'. Some very slight edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, top corners slightly bruised, not price clipped ($25.95), no inscriptions, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg+ copy. 144pp, lavishly illustrated. 'This charming book, filled with Edwardian character and with an introduction by the author of 'A Night To Remember', accurately conveys what it was like to dine aboard the most famous of all ships.' Dishes from the Escoffier inspired recipes have been tested in modern kitchens, so that the reader can recreate their own Titanic inspired meals. Now quite a scarce book.
